Oh my goodness, I am so stinking excited about this blog post! I got to work with the most amazing photographer here in Portland: Maria Lamb Photography. She is truly a gem, and we had a blast shooting together. I can’t believe that my birthday is already here, I feel like it was just yesterday that I turned 25 and found out i was pregnant. Here we are, a year later and I already have a babe who is 4 months old! He is honestly the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love him so much, sometimes I feel like my heart is gonna bust when I think about him. One if these days I’ll write a whole blog post about my love for him. 🙂
Back to my birthday post, I LOOOOOVE birthdays! In our home we celebrate our birthdays all week long. We call it “birthday week.” Alan and I started this little tradition, the rules of which are pretty simple: every time we want something all we have to say is “birthday” and the other person has to do it;) I honestly wasn’t planning on doing this shoot, it kind of came to me super last minute and I loved that Maria was totally on board with me. I bought this ASOS dress a while back and was waiting for the right time to pull it out. It’s such a beautiful dress, and the price is so great too. My best friend Victoria has a black one, and when I saw it on her I had to get myself one as well. I think the red roses complement it so nicely. Oh and the location- Lewis & Clark College – was so breathtaking!
I really hope you like this little collage of photos, and maybe somehow I’ve inspired you. Also thank you guys for all the sweet comments on IG, I read all of them. Thank you for all of your support, you guys are seriously the best, and I wish I could hug you all. It honestly feels so good to be back to blogging. Excited to see what this year has in store for me and I’m excited to share with you guys a lot of my hair tricks- and maybe some makeup tricks too. Thank you for stopping by!
